Why flexibility matters
Our service is built around the rhythms of the sea. Some days the Warehou are running, other days it’s Gurnard or Tarakihi.
When you keep your preferences broad, you give us the freedom to send you the freshest, highest‑quality fish we’ve caught that day.
If you only select one or two species, there’s a chance we simply didn’t catch them — and we don’t want you to miss out.
How it works

For new subscriptions, we always email or phone to talk about your requirements and explain how the service works.
Currently we deliver to Christchurch, Ashburton, North Canterbury and Selwyn. Stay tuned for other areas coming soon.

If you wish to change you order at all, we must know by midday the day before your delivery, and 48 hours beforehand if you are in Ashburton.
We will confirm receipt by return email.

You choose your preferences, we pack the freshest catch of the day and deliver it to your door – simple as that.
Our selection varies depending on the season, what's caught, and what’s available on the day. Typical varieties include Tarakihi, Gurnard, Gropper, Monkfish, Warehou, Perch and more. We only send what we would serve to our own families.
Yes! When you sign up, you will tell us exactly the kind of fish you like or, importantly, what you want us to leave out (e.g never deliver Warehou or Smoked Fish).
Plus, you can update these preferences anytime via the Manage My Order - Update Details. It’s great for allergies and the picky eaters in your life.
It will arrive at your door in a recyclable insulated box (or you are welcome to provide your own chilly bin). Inside the fish will be fillted, sealed in a plastic bag and resting on ice. Simply put, it’s designed to stay cold and fresh for hours.
We currently deliver across Metro Christchurch, Rural Christchurch, and some surrounding areas.
Rural deliveries may have slightly longer delivery windows, but we’ll confirm everything with you before your first box.

Of course! Flick us a text or email, and add the extras you desire. Whether it be free-range eggs, prawns, frozen Fairlie Bakehouse pies, or Greek small goods - 24 hour notice is all we need to make sure you receive your box of goodies.
